Red phone

The Red phone is a communications device located in the General's Office at Stargate Command. It is primarily a hotline direct to the President's office at the White House; however, it has been shown to call other numbers as well.

During Major General George S. Hammond's tenure as commanding officer, the phone was actively used by him. Speed dial one was set to dial his grandchildren, whereas two dialed the President.

Usage

• Major General George S. Hammond used the phone when he phoned the president or the Pentagon.
• It is unknown if Major General Henry Bauer used the phone, but is most likely that he did.
• Brigadier General Jack O'Neill used the phone himself when he was the command of the SGC during his time at the facility.
• Dr. Elizabeth Weir used the phone when she called the President Henry Hayes.
