Helia was a female Lantean, and the captain of the Tria.
Biography
Background information
During the war with the Wraith, the Tria was damaged when the Ancient Council gave the order to evacuate to Earth. They proceeded to Lantea, but they learned that the rest of the Lanteans had already left for Earth by Stargate. She decided to return to Earth with the Tria, but the hyperdrive cut out in the void between the Milky Way and Pegasus. Unwilling to return to Pegasus, they decided to continue by traveling at 0.999 light speed, using a Zero Point Module to power the engines, placing themselves in stasis pods. Due to relativity, they only experienced a handful of years. (SGA: "The Return, Part 1")
2006

While testing the new McKay/Carter Intergalactic Gate Bridge that the Tau'ri had constructed, the Daedalus rescued them and brought them back to Atlantis—where Helia locked down the city and told the Atlantis expedition to leave. She agreed to allow Major General Jack O'Neill and Richard Woolsey to remain as delegates, and to eventually allow the Atlantis expedition to return, once the Lanteans had time to adjust. Six weeks after reclaiming the city, the Asurans sent a warship to attack Atlantis. Helia, still believing them unable to harm them, ordered them to return to Asuras. However, the Asurans had overcome the directive preventing them from harming the Lanteans. They overran the city, killing all of them, including Helia, who attempted to hide the fact that all the Lanteans were killed as Talus probed her mind.
