Fish

Fish are a group of aquatic vertebrates with fins which live in oceans and other waterways. Fishing is the activity devoted to the procurement of fish, either for sport or sustenance.

History

The Hou Kaingan are a race whose food consists of algae, fish and gourds. (RPG: "First Steps: The Stargate Unexplored Worlds Roleplaying Sourcebook")

Jack O'Neill is a great proponent of fishing, but apparently does his best to practise his craft where there is no danger of actually catching fish. (SG1: "Moebius, Part 2") Carson Beckett is also quite fond of fishing. (SGA: "Sunday")

In 2003, Harold Maybourne used an explosive to get fish on the Utopian moon. (SG1: "Paradise Lost")
