Coral Sea

The Coral Sea was a space station. It was a development of the Allied Pacific Consortium, (TV: An Instinct for Murder) and of the First National Pan-Pacific Basin Consortium. (PROSE: An Instinct for Murder)

One of those situated there was Inspector Pal Kenzy of the International Space Police Force. During David Theroux's investigation into the mysterious deaths aboard the Charles de Gaulle, he attempted to contact Pal Kenzy of the Coral Sea. However, she was unavailable. (TV: An Instinct for Murder) Much like the Ronald Reagan, the Coral Sea had an artificial interface, through which you had to place your calls. Theroux referred to it as a "computer personal" and hated it. (PROSE: An Instinct for Murder)

The Coral Sea had the same basic modular construction as the Charles de Gaulle and the Edgar Rice Burroughs. (AUDIO: The Stuff of Life)

During their investigation aboard the Sharman 1, Kenzy was surprised to find that Max Fleming had a camera hidden in the conference room aboard the Coral Sea, a place she recognised instantly. (AUDIO: Daughters of Death)

Behind the scenes

  • It is clear that the use of "First National Pan-Pacific Basin Consortium" in the novelisation is simply a rewrite of "Allied Pacific Consortium", perhaps based on an earlier script draft. However, since the source materials do not clash, and this Wiki accepts both as licenced canon, the Wiki will treat them as separate entities, rather than the same thing.
