Background

Mug is a member of Hatchet's team stationed in the Zone as part of Jackal's expedition to find Lab X-8.

Mug is initially found in the Zaton Substation Workshop. Unlike other members of his team, if Hatchet is recruited to guard the scientists' bunker in Yanov, he will not join Hatchet and disappear from the game. Likewise, if the player does not recruit Hatchet, then he and the rest of his team will disappear after the mission Pripyat 1 is completed.
