Kalugin P.I.

Kalugin P.I., full name Piotr Ilyitch Kalugin (Ru. Калугин Пётр Ильич) is a minor character in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.

Background

Kalugin was the chief of Laboratory X-18 and in charge of the personnel responsible for the experiments that were conducted inside the laboratory. He died at some point before the events of the game inside the lab, presumably as a result of a mutant breakout.

Kalugin's body is found in a room inside X-18, guarded by two snorks and surrounded by many burner anomalies. The player must search his body for the code that unlocks the door leading to the laboratory's lower levels.
