Goldy is a Maxis-made cell present in Spore.
It possesses the Jaw, Flagella, and Button Eye cell parts.
It is one of the first carnivores met in the stage. Depending on the chosen difficulty, within easy and normal difficulties, Goldy will appear as peer-sized at level 2, meanwhile, in hard difficulty, it will appear predator-sized at level 1. Goldy may attack any herbivore but flee from carnivores, excluding the hard difficulty which attacks in sight regardless of the diet. It is also one of the cells that retaliate against another cell instead of fleeing.

- Goldy originally had a different design before it was redesigned into its final 2008 design.
- Sometimes in the Tribal Stage, tribe members can be seen talking about Goldy.
