Kong Kong (콩콩) is a Jiangshi who attends the midnight school alike his fellow classmates.
Biography (official)
Kong Kong is Cula's sidekick. Kong Kong is best described as weak to the strong and strong to the weak. He's very self conscious about his short height but by listening and trusting in Cula he feels safe and comforted. Although, they are likely to prank each other.
Personality
Kong Kong is sneaky but also a tad bit more serious. He becomes frustrated when his boundaries are not respected. He takes pride in his looks and is insecure about his lack of hair growth, height (only mentioned in biography) and strength. His lack of bravery is present but not something he seems to try to hold back.
Kong Kong was played out as being Cula's minion in the earlier episodes in which Kong Kong does not mean harm, is treated badly and wants nothing more than Cula's approval. Later on he is portrayed as just a character on his own with several insecurities but also an outspoken pride and backbone where he is just as likely to prank his peers as they are to prank him.
Kong Kong is in the possession of a tricycle with lights, shown in "I'm the Man" and in "Commercial" in which he is busy giving it a hot pink paint job. Where he stores his bike is not made clear.
Design
Kong Kong's main color is purple. He shares his body type with Zizi but is a bit shorter, making him the shortest of the group.
Monstrology
A Jiangshi (Korean: Gangshi) is a hopping vampire/zombie that sucks ones life force (Qi).
Kong Kong does not fully embrace Jiangshi rules. Jianshi are very stiff, hence they have to move in a hopping motion, and cannot get past obstacles. Kong Kong however is very animated and only hops when he feels like it. Opposed to a Jiangshi's fear of its own reflection, Kong Kong prides himselfs in his looks and often poses in front of mirrors.
A Jiangshi's weakness is a Taoist talisman, stuck on the forehead to immobilise them. As demonstrated in "Kong Kong's Amulet", a drawing can curse Kong Kong into doing or being.
Relationships
Cula
Kong Kong is Cula's partner in crime in mischief but -according to their biographies- not best friends.
Zizi
Zizi is a regular friend of Kong Kong and not shown to interact much nor have shown much of a specific opinion on each other.
Kebi
Kebi and Kong Kong are friends that can both partner (against Cula) as they can go and bother eachother. Kong Kong is more often the victim of Kebi's gas ability.
Frankie
Frankie is a regular friend of Kong Kong and not shown to interact much nor have shown much of a specific opinion on each other.
