Nixie is a teenage female fish who is one of Pearl's friends. She first appears in the episode "Mall Girl Pearl." She works at Bangles and Dangles in the Bikini Bottom Mall.
Description
She is a light yellow fish with dark magenta hair, light salmon-pink lips, and silver braces. She wears dark lavender clothes and a dark purple headband.

"Mall Girl Pearl"
She is seen after Pearl calls her at the mall, asking if she wants to hang out, though Nixie is unavailable since she is at work.
Sometime later, Pearl meets up with Nixie at Bangles and Dangles in order to apply for a job there. Nixie walks Pearl over to the manager, who quickly says they are not hiring.
Much later, Nixie along with Pearl's other two friends, Marina and Nocturna, meet up with her for lunch. Pearl announces that she is working at Grandma's Apron and Nixie and the others ridicule her for working at an elderly-themed store.
Nixie, Marina, and Nocturna then decide to visit Pearl at her job to humiliate her further. However, Pearl's manager, Beatrice, manages to defeat the trio, subsequently prompting them to apologize for their actions.
"Whale Watching"
She appears as one of the attendants of the breaching party.
"The Goofy Newbie"
Although Nixie does not appear in "The Goofy Newbie," her color palette is mistakenly given to Incidental 141.
"My Two Krabses"
She is one of the attendants at Pearl's slumber party, who also freaks out over seeing Mr. Krabs naked.
"Plankton's Intern"
She is one of the many teenagers who wants to work at the Chum Bucket as Plankton's intern.
Trivia
- Nixie bears a strong resemblance to Bea Goldfishberg from the 2010 Disney Channel animated series Fish Hooks. Coincidentally, Sherm Cohen worked on that series, and is the supervising director for her debut episode.
