Dolly is a character who appears in the PC versions of the video games The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie and Lights, Camera, Pants! She is the farmhand who tends to the seahorses in King Neptune's castles.
Description
Dolly
She is a light teal CGI fish who has rosy cheeks, and wears a cream-colored hat, Texas-style dark blue jeans, light brown cowboy boots and a dark green collared shirt with a brown button and 2 strings hanging out from it.
Juice Man
He is a light purple fish who has chestnut brown hair, a goatee beard, and a blue patterned and collared shirt with green flowers on it.
Role in games
The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (PC game)
She appears briefly in "Evil Under the Sea," where she thinks that Plankton is just the "gosh-tootin' wind."
She plays a bigger role in "Free Mindy," where she prevents Mindy from getting the seahorses for the carriage because she's grounded. When Mindy learns that the squire has a crush on her, she encourages him to talk to Dolly about his feelings for her. While Dolly's distracted talking to the squire outside of the castle, Mindy gets the opportunity to sneak into the ranch and get the seahorses for the carriage so she can get over to SpongeBob and Patrick before they venture into the trench.
Lights, Camera, Pants! (PC game)
Her model was repurposed and recolored for a new male character who runs the Smoothie Hut at Goo Lagoon. SpongeBob has to order a Crustaceous Cooler drink from him to get Larry to be in The New Adventures of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. However, he says that he ran out of berries and that he gave the recipe away to the conjoined bouncers of the Salty Spitoon, so SpongeBob has to get it back from them and acquire some wild berries from the Prehistoric era so he can make the drink.
Trivia
- In "Something Smells," SpongeBob mentions a character named "Dolly" while saying "hi" to a marching band.
- Her name may be a reference to country singer and musician Dolly Parton, considering the countryside elements between the two.
