Octocopter

Octocopters are Octarian fighters that can fly. They are essentially the aerial version of the common Octotrooper and seem to occupy the role of air-to-ground fighters in the Octarian Army, supplanted by the heavier-duty Octobombers. They retain the same weaknesses of the common Octotrooper, but one must get closer to hit them, given their height in the air. Upon noticing the player, an Octocopter will shoot out a single projectile.

Description

The Octocopter just looks and acts like a standard Octotrooper, but it has many differences that let it stand out. It can fly, thanks to the propeller on its helmet, and instead of its weapon shooting out ink from the vehicle on the bottom, it’s attached to the Octocopter’s helmet. The tentacle is also “upside-down", and it has legs on the tip of its tentacle. Its shoe also has a blade on below, as if it were on a skating rink.

Variants

Deluxe Octocopter

Just like the Deluxe Twintacle Octotrooper, it now has attached thrusters on its helmet, allowing it to dodge left or right in a burst of two dodges, after an attack.

Octobomber

The Octobomber is a different version of the Octocopter with a different attack method. Instead of shooting floating blobs of ink, they shoot out Splat Bombs.

Trivia

• As mentioned in the Description section above, the Octocopter's shoes contain blades below it, as if it was in a skating rink.
• Unlike most Octarians their tentacle shape "upside-down", as the tip is facing the bottom, not the top.
