The Ink Tank is a device worn on an Inkling's back to store his or her Ink.
Description
It is a cylinder made of clear plastic, with green parts on the top and bottom to store the Ink and allow the Inkling to wear it. It also has a white-colored bar for the current amount of Ink inside, with a red bar marked with a triangle that indicates how much Ink is enough to use their Sub Weapon.
The amount of Ink inside the Ink Tank represents the player's current amount of Ink. When the player runs out of Ink a red light on its top flashes, although it also flashes when the Ink Tank is full to indicate that they are ready to use their Special.
As the player dives or swims inside their Ink, an icon is shown that indicates how much Ink is being replenished. The player can also slowly replenish their own Ink by not using their weapons, and when they use their Special their Ink Tank is immediately refilled.
