The Explosher is a Main Slosher weapon in Splatoon 2 and Splatoon 3.
Appearance
It shoots ink torpedos that explode on contact with a surface or an Inkling. The Explosher also leaves a trail of ink before exploding on contact. Explosher can explode at close range causing a large amount of area to be inked. It is a type of Slosher and has the Special Bubble Blower and Sub Sprinkler. The Explosher also has a long end-lag, which means that it takes a while to fire again. Since it is a long-ranged weapon and it has a poor fire rate, the weapon is recommended in the back during battles.

Trivia
- When a player holds the Explosher, heatwaves can be seen rising out of it, suggesting that the ink blobs are created by warming ink. This would also explain the cooldown; the Explosher most likely needs time to heat up the blobs of ink.
- Another thing that suggests the ink is created by heat is that when you peek inside the slosher-type weapon, it appears that there’s fire inside that burns the ink. Heatwaves are also visible.
