The Big Shot is a Boss Salmonid in Splatoon 3’s Salmon Run: The Next Wave. The enemy was introduced in the Nintendo Direct on August 10, 2022.
Description
The Big Shot appears to be similar to a Cohock but with a dark turquoise tank top instead of a green apron.
Its cannon fires a cannon ball near the center of the map which then bounces up and down, in a similar fashion to the Wave Breaker. The projectile appears to send off only 2 waves before breaking, while the Wave Breaker emits 3. It is noted that if a new Big Shot appears, it will go to the same cannon the last Big Shot projected.
Once it is defeated, players can use its cannon to fire Golden Eggs toward the egg basket.
