Gafing is the sixth Boss Krawl fought in Spectrobes: Origins. It is found in the Fire Ruins on the planet Bahmud.
Description
Gafing is a massive Krawl that resembles a quadrupedal dragon. This Krawl can use both Earth and Fire attacks. Its weak point is at the tip of it's tail, and it is targetable at all four legs and it's tail.
Attacks
This boss will attack with Earth/Fire themed projectiles. When approached, it can use melee attacks such as a tail whip and a backflip. At some points, Gafing will jump out of the arena and crawl along the walls, sometimes stopping to fire projectiles. It can also fly, and will occasionally swoop down to attack the player. Gafing can also fire projectiles while flying. When it's HP is halved, Gafing will light itself on fire and sometimes use a flamethrower attack that lasts for about 10 seconds. It also deflects most ranged attacks.
Tips
The best strategy to beat it is to use a Plant Spectrobe first, and then a Water Spectrobe to attack it's weak spot.
