Appearance

Chomugon resembles a lizard/velociraptor type Spectrobe with a scythe-like tail. Its thin body is made out of a what appears to be a stick with 2 rings on it, thus making it extremely fast. Its head looks like its child form, except more pointed, forming a complete jaw.

Name Etymology

Language Name / Etymology
English Chomugon
From the prefix 超 (cho-, great) and 無言 (mugon, silence) - being a quoted speed fighter in the Database
Japanese ヤイバスター Yaibasutā
From 刃 (yaiba, "blade") and the English katakana for "star".

Trivia

  • Due to a likely programming error, Chomugon shares its in-game database bio with its Child Form, Mugon.
  • In the official Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals guide book, Chomugon's entry is as follows: "This dancing drifter goes where it pleases and gets really angry when something gets in its way." This however is the same in-game and guide book bio for Gokazoa. Meaning that Chomugon has two officially incorrect bios.
