Malebolgia (also referred to at times as the Malebolgia) is the name of a Demon in the Spawn universe, drawing its name from the term in Dante's Inferno used to describe Malebolge, the ditches (bolge) in the eighth circle of Hell where the evil (male) are punished. He was Spawn's master and one of the major Lords of Hell. He served as one of the main antagonists of the series alongside Mammon,Cogliostro/Sinn,and Nyx.

- Malebolgia appears in the Spawn movie voiced by Frank Welker.
Television
- Although Malebolgia doesn't appear in Todd McFarlane's Spawn, his presence is felt throughout the show, with frequent references to him.
- He appears in the Robot Chicken episode "Celebutard Mountain" voiced by Tom Root. He and Spawn compete in a fiddle contest reminiscent of "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" by the Charlie Daniels Band.

- He appeared as a villain and main antagonist in the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) game titled Todd McFarlane's Spawn: The Video Game.
- He appears as the main antagonist in the PlayStation video game, Spawn: The Eternal.
- Maleboglia appears as the final boss of the Game Boy Color video game, Spawn.
- Malebolgia appears as an unplayable boss in Spawn: In The Demon's Hand, voiced by Tony Daniels.
- He is mentioned in Soulcalibur II for the Xbox and its later rerelease Soulcalibur II HD for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360; he is the one who sent Spawn after the demoinc weapon Soul Edge, and is mentioned by Spawn directly in one of his win poses saying, "Malebolgia, just you wait." - Malebolgia appears in Spawn: Armageddon voiced by David Sobolov.
- Malebolgia makes a cameo in Mortal Kombat 11 in one of Spawn's victory poses simply titled, "Malebolgia". It is revealed in a character interaction that Malebolgia is the cousin of Cetrion and Shinnok.
