Origin
Ji Dong and Lie Yan had the most difficult love process among all the gods. Formerly known as Li Jiedong died at the age of 32 after he sunk into an alcohol induced coma tasting the newly discovered liquor from the time of the Han Dynasty. He is reincarnated into the body of Ji Dong, a young beggar with the memories of his past. Later on, he met Lie Yan who was the queen of the inner world by chance after being sent by a non-directional teleportation scroll.
Love
After they met, Ji Dong made cocktails for her and Lie Yan taught him how to practice fire magic. Just as the two gradually fell in love, Ji Dong suddenly encountered a powerful enemy and was unable to hold on. In order to save him, Lie Yan came to the earth desperately and turned the tide. However, she was also exposed to the sight of the gods as they were intolerable of her existence on earth.
The God Hunter
The god hunter came down to earth to capture Lie Yan, but Lie Yan fought back just to avoid leaving Ji Dong. When both were hurt, Ji Dong and Lie Yan finally expressed their love. The God Patrol Hunter used his powerful divine power and handsome appearance to lure Ji Dong to kill Lie Yan, but Ji Dong told the God Patrol Hunter that without Lie Yan, everything would be meaningless. The God Hunter risked his life to counterattack, and Lie Yan blocked the attack for Ji Dong. Ji Dong wanted to use his own life to protect Lie Yan, but Lie Yan used her last strength to save his life.

Lie Yan was captured and taken to the Divine Realm, where she met the Goddess of Kindness and the God of Evil. The God of Evil did not understand why they would risk everything for each other, so he made a bet with her by giving her the most beautiful face, the best figure, powerful strength, and noble birth, to return to the human world and pursue Ji Dong, but he did not allow her to tell Ji Dong that she was Lie Yan. Also if Ji Dong says the three words "I love you" to the new her, he will allow them to be together.
Chen Sixuan
Ji Dong's persistence fully proved the power of love. For ten years, the flames that transformed into Chen Sixuan could not make him say those three words to her. Until the last moment, she suffered a fatal injury for him and before she died, she asked him to say those three words, but he chose to give her life back to her instead. Ji Dong endured countless tortures throughout these years, and so did Lie Yan.
