The Can is a Bloodthirsty Killer who appears as a quest boss in Soul Eater Monotone Princess.
Appearance
The Can is a large, obese man with muscular arms and a green skin who wears a light brown apron over a white shirt. On his head, The Can wears an upside down tin can, which has the word "MEAT" written on it. He carries a chainsaw.[1]
Special Abilities
High Physical Abilities (高い身体能力, Takai karada nōryoku): The Can is very durable, being able to survive many attacks from high level Meisters, including multiple Soul Resonance attacks like a Pull and Slash or Death Cannon. Despite his bulky appearance, his dash attacks exceed the likes of Death the Kid in speed.[1]
Chainsaw-Wielding Skill: The Can appears to be very skilled in the use of his chainsaw as a weapon, which allows him to match powerful Meisters like Black☆Star.
Equipment
Chainsaw: The Can carries a large chainsaw, which he uses as a deadly weapon in battle. It can cause severe damage to Meisters on the caliber of Kid and Maka. His in-game max attack power is even greater than Grimoire's.[2]
Trivia
- The Can's outfit and use of a chainsaw may be a nod towards Leatherface, the main antagonist of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre film series.
- His physical appearance and in-game attack pattern resemble those of Sonson-J.
- Both The Can and Sonson-J, along with D. Frefre and the later-introduced Frey D. Sadoko, are based on iconic horror film villains who also had yet another character (The Horror Dragon) designed after them.
