Ronnie Le Drew is a Canadian puppeteer who is best known for his role as Zippy, in the children's long-running television series Rainbow. In The Sooty Show, he mainly controlled Sweep, but occasionally he controlled Sooty and once controlled Scampi in Sooty Heights. He rejoined the franchise for the third series of Sooty in 2018. He appeared in the series finale, Just Deserts, standing in a queue inside the ice-cream shop.
