Trivia
- The man and the woman who have steam coming out of their ears are Soo's voice artist Brenda Longman and Sooty's propman Pete Moran. Michael Comer, a runner on the show, can be seen pushing some fireworks in the opening shot of the episode. This part was meant to be played by Wink Taylor (who was to insert a stunt into the scene), but filming clashed with his Theo the Mouse commitments.
- Alex Skerratt stated, via Twitter, that although he provided the first draft, this episode owes a lot to Wink Taylor and Richard Cadell. The portaloo gag is an example of something that Wink added.
- According to a blog post by writer Alex Skerratt, the original idea from this episode came from Richard Cadell's dad.
Goofs
- At one point when a family of five buy some tickets for the firework display, Richard uses the term "Boys and Girls" even though there is only one boy in the family.
- Richard needs Sooty to turn off the lights for the indoor fireworks, yet they come back on by themselves afterwards.
- The split screen effect is far too evident when everyone is rushing to the toilet, as the children on the trampolines to one side of the portaloo are bouncing at more a normal speed than the Rollercoaster and the queue of people to the other side.
