The War Walrus is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a Badnik Horde Commander, based on Rotor the Walrus.

History

The War Walrus was sent to destroy the Sky Patrol prior to when the Freedom Fighters headed for Meropis. However, Rotor used various weapons of the Sky Patrol (including the Anti-air Missiles, Volkan Cannon, Omochao Gun, Sonic Power Cannon, particle beam cannon, and Laser Blaster) to obliterate the robot.^[1]

The War Walrus had some degree of intelligence as it showed disbelief about its quick defeat, though it spoke in a very computer-like manner.^[1]

The War Walrus has rocket boosters on the bottom of its feet, allowing it to fly.

The War Walrus comes with a long, red monkey wrench which it wields as a weapon.
