Tekno is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is a mobian canary and a friend of Amy Rose.
Appearance
Tekno is a mobian canary with green feathers, a yellow beak, and blue eyes. Her attire consists of gold earrings and a black turtleneck shirt with thin orange stripes running horizontally.
History
Tekno was first seen at Mina Mongoose's concert, while her and Elizabeth Quack looked up in worry and surprise when Elizabeth's kids Hubert, Duane, and Louise were standing on top of a Star Post. When Sally Acorn was placed in charge by Maximillian Acorn during his absence, Tekno displayed gleeful surprise at this together with Amy Rose, and Amy's other friend, Ebony. She would later witness Sally and Sonic's intense argument along with Amy, and the rest of all the other people who attended Mina's concert.[1]
Tekno was later seen at Chuck's diner along with many others, sitting behind Bunnie Rabbot and Fiona Fox. As such, she witnessed Charmy Bee and Saffron Bee both entering and collapsing in the diner.[2]
Personality
Tekno is shown to be an upbeat and cheerful girl, much like her friend Amy.[1]

- Tekno is based on the character with the same name from Sonic the Comic.
- Tekno's inclusion in the Archie Comics was done as one of several admitted in-joke tributes by the artist Jonathan Gray. However, it occurred without the consent of Tekno's creator, Lew Stringer.
