Concept and creation

Spring Valley Zone is themed after one of the four seasons, with this Zone using the spring season as its inspiration.

Description

A whimsical, brightly colored Zone, Spring Valley Zone is a beautiful paradise valley with evergreen grass, an orange sky with orange flower meadows containing red flowers, pink mountain ranges and a river that carves through the land. Filled with a multitude of cherry blossoms, windmills on floating platforms and springs taking the appearance of normal flowers, the Zone is also littered with Badniks themed after the Zone's spring season theme.[1]

History

Seasons of Chaos

SVZ2

While traveling through Spring Valley Zone, Sonic, Tails, and Amy found the green Chaos Emerald laying on a bundle of flowers. As Sonic prepared to take it, Metal Sonic suddenly arrived and stole the Emerald. He then ran away from Sonic as the blue hedgehog chased after his robotic doppelganger. Though unsuccessful in catching Metal Sonic, the heroic trio were met by Knuckles, who explained that he had been attacked by Metal Knuckles, who also had a Chaos Emerald. Deducing that Dr. Eggman was up to his old nefarious schemes, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles made haste to Summer Falls Zone, leaving Amy behind. Fortunately, she found Mighty and Ray playing around near the river within the Zone. Amy insisted on Mighty and Ray helping her meet back up with Sonic and the others to help stop Eggman, as she had Tails' Emerald Radar that fell off him earlier. Mighty and Ray thus set off with Amy to catch up with the others, not wanting Eggman to succeed nor miss out on another adventure. As the three set off together however, Tails Doll loomed nearby, stalking the group and proceeded to follow them.[1]
