The Sonic Spin,[1][2] also known as the Triple-S Spin[3] is a move that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a technique used by several mobians where the user attacks as a concussive ball.
Overview
The Sonic Spin involves the user curling into a concussive ball and bashing opponents with their body, often as a cutting disk. Often used by hedgehogs or hedgehog-like beings, the attack often requires for the user to utilize their quills or something similar to cause extra damage.
Variants
Rolling Combo
The Rolling Combo is a combination move exclusive to Sonic and Tails. When performing this move, Sonic and Tails join two Sonic Spins together to form a larger and more powerful version of the Sonic Spin.
Spin Dash
The Spin Dash is a variant of the Sonic Spin where the user charges up their speed and blasts off at a target. It can be used for both battling opponents and simply traveling around at high speeds.
