Sonic-bot

Sonic-bot^[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic Boom series. It is a Bot Racer for Bot Racing that is based on Sonic the Hedgehog.

Appearance

Modeled after Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic-bot is an almost-entirely blue robot, standing slightly taller than its template. It has a flat, dome-shaped head with two blank and yellow eyes, fins on its head resembling Sonic's quills, no muzzle, and triangular ears with red insides. Possessing no neck, it has a cup-shaped torso with regular-looking arms and legs, and two red recesses on its chest. It also has five-fingered gray hands and feet fashioned in the image of Sonic's red and white shoes.

Overview

In Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice, Sonic-bot is a Ragnium-fueled Bot Racer designed for Dr. Eggman's racing challenges. It is unconfirmed, however, whether it is Eggman or Team Sonic who designed it.

In gameplay, Sonic-bot is a playable character for the Bot Racing minigames in the main levels (after they are cleared by Sonic) and on Thunder Island. Sonic-bot has the same abilities as all Bot Racers, including the Air Dash, Double Jump, Fire/Ice Mode, Homing Attack, Sprint, and usage of the Enerbeam. This Bot Racer is available from the beginning of the game and has no unlocking requirements. It has maximum acceleration and good air control, but poor ground control, and an average jump.

Powers and abilities

With the aid of its Ragnium-based fuel, Sonic-bot commands super speed, enhanced jumping skills and agility for special moves, and the ability to activate Fire Mode and Ice Mode on its own. It also comes equipped with its own Enerbeam.
