The Sonic-Man Heroes are a group that were set to appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They were meant to debut in Sonic the Hedgehog #293, and were to be a group of actors in a super hero show.
Concept and Creation
The Sonic Man Heroes are based off of Sonic Man from Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). The overall style and body proportions were based off of the style of humans from Sonic Unleashed. The premise of their show was that humans would star in a Power Rangers-esque show based on the exploits of Sonic and his friends. Each character would have had a Red Star Ring which would allow them to transform and don into their hero suit.[1]
History
Based on the solicitation of their would-be debut issue, they would have been directed by Honey the Cat during a shooting for their show, before Eggman would interupt their shooting, seemingly upset about "creative differences" about the Sonic Man TV series.
