The Shredbot is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series published by Archie Comics. It was a giant robot created by Dr. Robotnik to attack the Freedom Fighters.

History

Equipped with tentacles and giant saw blades, it nearly caught Sally Acorn and Bunnie Rabbot, but was defeated by Miles "Tails" Prower, whose intellect had recently been boosted by the fruit of the Tree of Wisdom.^[1]

This robot resembles the Shredder from the Sonic the Hedgehog television series.
