RoboDog is a character that appears in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is a robot dog created for Doctor Robotnik by Wes Weasely.
History
At the time, Robotnik was running for President of Mobius, and Wes Weasely believed that having a dog would help Robotnik's campaign if he could show he was a good family man. However, every time Robotnik told RoboDog to 'heel', the dog bit him on his heel.[1]
Personality
RoboDog was designed to have a heart of gold and love playing games. RoboDog exhibits typical dog-like behavior, such as barking, growling, and chasing cats. It is also designed to be obedient, although it is literal-minded. For example, every time Robotnik commanded it to "Heel", RoboDog would bite his heel.
