Ring Toss

This move exists primarily or exclusively within the Sonic X continuity.
Information in this article may not be canonical to the storyline of the games or any other Sonic continuity.

The Ring Toss[1][2] is a move that appears in Sonic XS and Shadow XS. It is a technique that consists of the user throwing a Ring as a projectile into enemies.

Description

When performing the Ring Toss, the user stops in place and overhand throws a single Ring directly forward. The Ring is thrown at such force that it can reduce robots, such as E-23 Missile Wrists, to debris.

In gameplay, this move is the only offensive technique against enemies. Any enemies hit by the tossed Ring will be destroyed instantly. The move does not subtract from the player's total Ring count, and it can be used indefinitely.

To perform the Ring Toss in gameplay, the player can press the spacebar or hold for continuous throws.
