Predicto is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is a special Trooper designed by Doctor Robotnik and Grimer to defeat Sonic and the Freedom Fighters.
History
Beware Predicto!
Predicto was programmed with all the information that Robotnik had about each Freedom Fighter, as well as Knuckles, which allowed him to accurately predict their moves. Grimer named him after this ability, although Robotnik did not seem to find the name very amusing.
When he faced them down in the Mushroom Valley on the Floating Island, he quickly defeated all of them; even managing to predict when Knuckles would attempt to sneak attack from underground, and countering it. However, when Sonic pretended to surrender, contrary to Predicto's expectations that Sonic would never give up, Predicto's computer brain overloaded and he self-destructed.[1]
Trivia
- Although it is not specifically stated, Predicto (as a specialised and highly-advanced Trooper) may be a part of the Special Badnik Service.
