Off Course was a Japanese band whose work have impacted the anime series Sonic X.

History

Off Course was founded by Kazumasa Oda and Yasuhiro Suzuki. Other prominent members included Hitoshi Shimizu, Kazuhiko Matsuo, and Hitose "Jiro" Oma. The band's members are considered among the founding fathers of Japanese folk-rock and enjoyed a 25-year long career before disbanding in 1989.

Some of their songs were featured as insert songs in the anime series Sonic X.
