Octo-Pod is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is an octopus robot with many tentacles.
History
The Octo-Pod attacked Sally Acorn, Hamlin, Dylan Porcupine and Geoffrey St. John whilst guarding one of Dr. Robotnik's energy sub-stations that was rumored to supply power to Robotropolis defense system. It was only after Sally blinded its eyes with spray-paint that they managed to get away before the substation exploded.[1]
