The Neutral Zone is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is an alternate zone that can be reached through the Cosmic Interstate by an invisible path there.
Description
The Neutral Zone is a colorless and completely empty void, with no visible surface, and was the original location of the Giant's Hand. Everyone who enters this Zone appears without any colors.
History
After Dr. Robotnik saw Robo-Robotnik v1.0 as a threat and teamed up with the many Sonics whom Sonic Prime has gathered, he explained to his new "allies" that Robo-Robotnik was keeping an alien weapon called the "Giant's Hand" in the Neutral Zone. A squadron of Sonics headed to the Neutral Zone with the intention of retrieving the Giant's Hand, but discovered that the Neutral Zone was nothing but a colorless void. The Sonics find the Giant's Hand, but Anti-Sonic and an army of Shadow SWATbots arrived first. After a brief battle, the Swatbots were defeated, but Robo-Robotnik located the Giant's Hand and teleported it back to his base.[1]
