Lau Khan[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a mobian monkey, and the father of Monkey Khan.
Appearance
Lau Khan has a humanoid resemblance, with blue eyes, brown fur, and hair on his head colored a darker shade of brown. He also wears white pants, and a green robe with a gold fringe.[1]
History
Against the Haunted Past
Lau Khan served as the leader of Leung West, and led the citizens of it into peace and knowledge, also leading them to impartiality in the Great War. However, his son did not share these views, and he was forced to reprimand him on several occasions. On one such occasion, Lau Khan reprimand his son for playing too rough with the other children of the village, but was soon interrupted by Dr. Robotnik, who captured Lau and all the other citizens of Leung West for his cybernetic experiments. Unfortunately, Lau was unable to react to the cybernetics, and was killed by the experiment.[1][2]
Personality
A pacifist by nature, Lau Kan discourages violence, and strictly reprimands anyone who disturbs the peace of Leung West.[1]
