Appearance

History

Sometime after the death of Dr. Robotnik and the Mobians retaking the city of Mobotropolis, John and his wife Jane opened up a juice bar called Deer John's. The Knothole Freedom Fighters would visit the bar alongside their friend Nate Morgan, though the latter was harassed by some of the other patrons due to him being an Overlander. The bar was soon attacked by several criminals who had escaped from the Devil's Gulag, resulting in Nate's kidnapping and a grenade being thrown into the bar.[1] While Sonic managed to throw the grenade towards the skylight and save the patrons, it still heavily damaged the establishment much to Jane's displeasure, being more concerned about the bar she and her husband had worked so hard to open than about Nate's wellbeing.[2]

Sometime later, the Does were give a Telecrate in order to watch King Acorn's broadcast, only to instead be shown a documentary about the late Dr. Robotnik.[3] This was soon discovered to be the work of Robo-Robotnik, an alternate reality version of Robotnik who wished to avenge his prime counterpart's death. He thus launched an assault on Mobotropolis with his Shadowbot army, forcing the Does to flee from the city.[4]
