The Injector is an object that is mentioned in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by the Archie Comics. It is a mandatory device used on the recruits for the Egg Army.

Description

The Injector is a device used by Dr. Eggman to inject small implants into new recruits of the Egg Army. The Injector's implants are used to keep Eggman's subordinates in contact with the doctor over short distances, and "keep them in line", though it is unknown how it does the latter.[1]
