HugeBot[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic Boom series. It is a robot created by Dr. Eggman that is credited as the doctor's largest creation to date (and one of his most useless).[1]
Appearance
HugeBot borrows Vacuum Bot's design. HugeBot, however, is larger and lacks Vacuum Bot's tail. Overall, it is a humanoid robot with a round, red torso and an open recess across its lower half that stretches from its front to its rear. In its lower recess, it has a gray pelvis with stubby gray legs and armored white calves with sharp red feet. It also has cyan lights on its "stomach" that resemble abdominal muscles, and a flat white head up front with five black prongs around it. Its head features a gray forehead and mouth plate, a red face, and cyan eyes with slit-like pupils. It also has black arms with red and white plating around its shoulders, red and white gauntlets, and four-fingered black hands.
History
TV series
Season two
HugeBot was designed according to Dr. Eggman's "bigger is better" philosophy. When it was called in to battle Team Sonic however, it proved so slow that Sonic was able to destroy it with Knuckles' aid before it could even make a move, prompting Eggman to label HugeBot one of his most useless creations to date.[1]
Powers and abilities
As an Eggman robot, HugeBot is able to receive power remotely from Eggman's lair.[2]
Weaknesses
HugeBot's size is, for all intents and purposes, its greatest weakness, as it makes it so incredibly slow that it is useless in combat. In addition, its head is an apparent weak spot, as it only takes two spin attacks from Sonic, thrown by Knuckles, to knock it off and disable the robot. Also, being an Eggman robot, HugeBot relies on Eggman's lair to provide it with power. As such, should the lair run out of power, then it will too.[2]
