George Acorn

King George Acorn is a character that is mentioned in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He was the sixth king of the Kingdom of Acorn and a member of the House of Acorn.

History

Life and achievements

Succeeding his father Romulus Acorn, George exulting in the House of Acorn's success in building up the Kingdom of Acorn. Under the delusion of his flawlessness, he declared war on the Overland, resulting in the terrible war know as King George's Folly. With his knights lost in the war, George's court sanctioned him, and he was left powerless to act in any capacity until his death. He was succeeded by his son Abraham Acorn.[1]

Legacy

George is one of the few kings of Acorn to be recalled with universal contempt. The war he started would remain unsurpassed in terms of its violence until the Great War that occurred in the reign of his distant grandson, Maximillian Acorn.[1]

Personality

Because of his ancestors' prosperity, George was spoiled and very arrogant, believing himself to be flawless.[1]
