The Flame Sword is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics.

Description

Appearance

The Flame Sword is a sword that has orange colored flames as the ‘blade’ of the sword.

Features and traits

The Flame Swords function mostly like regular swords, but pack additional and more power due to being made of fire.

History

Flame Swords were used by the Dark Legion when fighting Sonic and the Chaotix when they arrived on Angel Island to help deal with the conflict between the Dingo Regime and Echidnas. Sonic also stole and used a Flame Sword himself.[1]
