The Egg Mite is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a crab-based Badnik model created by Dr. Eggman for utility purposes.
Appearance
A typical Egg Mite has a circular central body, and walks about on claw-like appendages that are able to carry large objects of significantly greater weight with relative ease.
History
An Egg Mite carried Tails Doll inside itself and secretly flew to an area outside of the Sky Patrol, opening up to allow the doll to infiltrate the floating fortress.[1]
Powers and abilities
Egg Mites' limbs can close into an egg-shape for flight and easy storage or deployment. Egg Mites do not feature any known weapons besides a single laser-cutting torch used in welding tasks.[1]
Trivia
- The Egg Mites are based on the Egg Bomber enemies that appeared in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006).[2]
