The Egg Antlion is a robot which appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was one of the first generation Super Badniks created by Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, built in the earlier days of Eggman's conquest for global domination.
Appearance
As its name states, the Egg Antlion is a robotic version of an antlion, colored mostly red with big black and white cartoon eyes and possessing huge pinchers equipped on its mouth. It has blue bolts attached on its neck.
History
Egg Antlion was stationed at a pit at the Underground Zone, where it and Coconuts would challenge Sonic the Hedgehog to a brief brawl. Unfortunately, due to Coconuts dropping bombs towards the Egg Antlion (along with Sonic's strategy), Coconut's bombs destroyed the Super Badnik, leaving Sonic with no competition.[1]
Powers and abilities
While not its entire robotic body was displayed, the Egg Antlion is capable of using its large pinchers to crush its opponents.
