The Egg-Gantor is an object that appears in the Sonic X comic series published by Archie Comics. It was a massive robot created by, and in the image of, Dr. Eggman.

History

Archie Comics

The Egg-Gantor was used by Dr. Eggman in his plot involving an army of artificially created Chao. After unveiling it at his base, Eggman took it to Station Square and demanded that the populace make him emperor. However, Chaos used the positive energies of the seven Chaos Emeralds and challenged the Egg-Gantor, defeating it with relative ease.[1]

Trivia

  • The name "Egg-Gantor" refers to Gigantor, the English name for the titular character in a 1960s anime series about a giant robot.
