Dave is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He was an echidna astronaut from Albion who explored distant planets in Mobius' solar system.

History

Past

Dave explored various planets, such as Saturn and Jupiter's moon Europa, in a spaceship, called Monolith. His exploration was chronicled in the book 2001: A Space Odyssey. (KtE: #30)

Trivia

Dave is an parody of the fictional character Dr. David Bowman from the Space Odyssey series.
