Daredingo[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a mobian dingo, and was one of the few people to try out to become a part of the Downunda Freedom Fighters.
History
Myth Taken Identity
After Wombat Stu left the Downunda Freedom Fighters, they set up try-outs for a new member. Daredingo was the first one to try out, but the team quickly dismissed him. Disappointed at not being allowed on the team, Daredingo and several other rejected members discussed forming a group known as the "Substitute Downunda Freedom Fighters". However, before a decision was met, Daredingo and the others were attacked by the Bunyip.[1][2]
Personality
In spite of his impaired eyesight due to constantly wearing his sunglasses, Daredingo thinks highly about himself due to his "sixth sense".[1]
Powers and abilities
According to Daredingo, he possesses a heighten "sixth scents".[1]
Weakness
Because he wears dark glasses all the time, Daredingo's eyesight is impaired.[1]
Trivia
- Daredingo is heavily based upon the character Daredevil from the Marvel Comics.
