Amir

Amir^[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic Underground television series. He is a member of the Azcan Tribe, who serves as one of Iffucan's bodyguards, along with Jamal.

Appearance

Amir is an anthropomorphic lion with beige fur, a tan muzzle, and a short black mane that is only visible below his chin. For attire, he wears a blue robe with a red fringe, two yellow shoulder pads, a red scarf, and brown boots.^[1]

History

TV series

Season one

Amir assisted Jamal and Iffucan in destroying several Swatbots assaulting the Sonic Underground. Once introductions were made, Amir helped repair their Camper Van, and traveled in it with them back to the base of the Azcan Tribe, where he continued to guard Iffucan. Amir would soon assist Jamal in waking up the Kar-lac for Sonic's initiation test by throwing lit torches down its pit. After watching Sonic's defeat of the creature, and returning to the Azcan base, Amir would play drums to accompany the Sonic Underground's music performance. Despite this, however, Amir and Jamal would capture Manic and leave him in the Sun Snare Drum to prevent him from telling others about Iffucan's Roboticization. However, Iffucan himself did not approve of this decision, and was furious with Amir and Jamal for doing such a thing. Amir would later be captured along with the rest of the Azcan tribe (excluding Iffucan and Sonic) by Sleet and Dingo, but would soon be freed, at which he would fight back the advancing Swatbot horde and the attacking Kar-lac with his laser rifle. Following the battle, Amir would return to serving as Iffucan's bodyguard, and would show his support of him remaining the leader of the Azcan Tribe by chanting his name.^[1]

Personality

Amir is entirely loyal to Iffucan, serving as one of his personal bodyguards. Additionally, Amir rarely speaks, usually remaining silent.^[1]

Powers and abilities

Amir is proficient in using his laser rifle, being able to shoot down targets with accuracy.^[1]
