Air Circus

Air Circus[1] is a carnival game published by Sega, and released at an unknown point in 1994. Although not marketed as a Sonic the Hedgehog title, the game features several Rockies as its main characters, plus a singular Pecky on its artwork.

Due to its nature as a carnival game, Air Circus was only released in select locations, such as Joypolis in Yokohama[2], before later being removed.

Gameplay

While the exact gameplay of Air Circus is unknown, it appears that the Rocky figurines would blow gusts of air upwards (as indicated by the name and artwork for the machine), and the player would toss inflatable beach balls onto the air to "Skillfully make the beach balls float!"[1] Displays are featured on the game reading "Start" and "Goal" implying that the objective may have been to keep the ball floating for a set amount of time. The game could also be played by two players at once, although the differences caused by this are unknown.

SegaSonic plushes of Rocky were also seemingly awarded as prizes for completing this game.[2]
