6-Pak is a video game compilation of Sega's most successful and classic video games originally released for the Sega Mega Drive during the console's early days. It was released in the United States for the Sega Mega Drive in 1995, during the decline of the console. The game also came with a 67-page manual that contained the complete instructions for all six games.
The games in 6-Pak themselves are virtually identical to those that were originally released. However, the game is given a selection menu for the different titles it contains, which displays new renderings of the box art for each of the six games, much like those seen in previous Sega compilation releases, like Classic Collection and Sonic Compilation.
When booting up 6-Pak, the game's selection menu is displayed. The control of the selection menu is done with : by pressing left or right, the player can select the different games.
Interestingly, the artwork used on the box for Columns is not from the Sega Mega Drive version, but instead the Sega Master System edition of the game.
