The Forever Fountain is a magical object that appears in the animated series Sofia the First. It is a valued magical treasure of the Sea Serpents of Enchancia.
Background
The Forever Fountain is a magical fountain that can turn any place into a watery paradise that's perfect for sea monsters. Because of this, it is heavily treasured by the Sea Serpents of Enchancia whose leader, Aqualina, hoped to turn the Blazing Palisades into such a place for them.
The Forever Fountain first appears in "The Secret Library: Tale of the Eternal Torch". The Sea Serpents of Enchancia arrive on the Blazing Palisades with the intention of using it to make the Blazing Palisades their new home. Princess Sofia and the Dragons of Enchancia try to stop them, but Prince James, whom Sofia unintentionally brought along, wrecks their plans and they fail. The Sea Serpents take the Eternal Torch, the object whose magic made the Blazing Palisades the perfect home for the dragons, off its pedestal and put the Fountain in its place. The Fountain's magic unleashes a wide array of torrents that wash out the dragons and turn the Blazing Palisades into the Watery Palisades. After the dragons lure the sea serpents away. Sofia and James enter the cave and put the Torch back on its pedestal in a way that merges the Fountain's magic with that of the Torch. This magical merger transforms the island into the Misty Palisades, which half-Blazing Palisades at the top and half-Watery Palisades at the bottom. Sofia and James leave things as they are and convince the dragons and sea serpents to make peace.
