Sha-V, whose real name is Hideki Asanaka (麻中 秀樹, Asanaka Hideki), is a Japanese music composer and sound editor who was hired by SNK in 1995. When he composes character themes, he strives to make the melody "speak for the character". He has a policy to use anything and everything in his arsenal while he's composing.
